Man in the Can won the Audience Award for Documentary Short at Los Angeles-based festival Dances With Films, Best Documentary at Snake Alley Festival of Film, Best Texas Film at the Hill Country Film Festival, and was honored with a Special Screening at the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Wrangler National Finals in Las Vegas. It has also screened at Lone Star Film Festival, Anchorage International Film Festival, DocuWest International Film Festival, Hurricane International Film Festival, and Oneota Film Festival.
